How the world was carved

Long ago an ancient race existed. They were the God-Kings. After untold eons of rule, their time was drawing to a close. They knew that they would be erased from the history of the world. Because of this, they sought to leave their mark on existence before they were forced from reality. To this end they forged a might blade capable of hewing lift from nothingness. They then all entered into combat with one another to see who would be the victor and claim the might blade, ANIMA.The fight raged on until there were only two left- twin brothers. After a long and incredibly brutal fight with his twin brother, the great god-king ALGUMAS was victorious and deemed worthy to receive the ANIMA. With this mighty tool from the great chaotic void he carved out worlds, stars and moons, and all life. He then took his brothers body and put it in a place where it could rest and be remembered with honor. We call this grave “The Moon”. After this he was made tired and wished to sleep. he created himself a great bed chamber that burns with his power. We call this bed “The Sun”. But a strange thing happened. For ANIMA could not rest with him, for it was too great. Knowing he wanted his weapon near him always, he planted it into the core of the great Mountain of Sorrows, and from this entry point, pushed it to the core of the world. But a strange thing happened. From the blades strange magic, life began to change into the intelligent life we see today. Some animals turned into monsters, and stranger still, this world was given the blessings of the great Epoch Fragments, pieces of his weapon that have broken off and found their way to the surface world, granting amazing powers to the people of the world. This is where we all come from, and the origin of our strange skills. These amazing powers and skills were spread across the land, unable to be hoarded by any group, to varied to be mastered by any one being.
